| IPR Helpdesk |
| |
|
The main objective of the IPR-Helpdesk is to assist
potential and current contractors taking part in Community
funded research and technological development projects
on intellectual property rights (IPR) issues. The
IPR-Helpdesk also advises on Community diffusion and
protection rules and other issues relating to IPR
in international research projects. Another more global
objective of the action is to raise the European research
community's awareness of IPR issues, by emphasising
their European dimension.

| BE READY TO SUCCEED! |
| |
| Your success in participating
the ICT programme depends mainly on you. We can help
you, but you will be the key to your own success. |
| |
| Here are a couple of steps
you're advised to take, in order to draw the maximum
benefit from our services. |
| |
 |
Download and read the
ICT final Work-Programme 2007-08. This is the
key document to see if your research priorities match
the European research agenda for the next two years.
The work-programme is structured into broad research
areas called Challenges and into specific research areas
called Objectives. Go through them to see how much you
are or can be tuned with the European research priorities.
This is a decisive factor in assessing your chances
of getting projects funded. |
 |
Fill in the
Research Priorities Table and send it back to
us at reena@itsmaindia.org.
This document will help us do an important preparatory
work in view of our meeting with you in the 1-2-1 session.
The more we know about your research priorities ambitions
and projects, the better we can do in showing you the
right path to implement your plans within European funding
schemes. |
 |
If you feel you have a good research
project idea, and would like to check whether it would
have good chances to become a EU funded project, download,
fill in and send back to us (reena@itsmaindia.org)
the Project Idea Template. Information is treated confidentially,
in the sole purpose of providing you with valuable feedback.
No information is disclosed to third parties without
your authorization. Take your time to tell us what your
research plans are. Doing it during the meeting will
risk of consuming all the time at your disposal. If
we receive that information before talking to you, we'll
be able to check whether that is in line with the objectives
of the funding programmes, whether that kind of research
has already been funded, who in Europe is carrying out
similar projects, which sources of further information
you could use and more that could help you shape a winning
proposal. |
| |
| OUR COMMITMENT |
| |
| Our project is funded by the
European Commission to increase Indian participation
in the Framework Programme. To give you the most complete
and valuable feedback is our mission and our interest.
Your success will be our success. |
