Call 3 will be shortly announced

The ICT call 3 that represents the final call for 2007, will be shortly published by the European Commission sometime in December. Call 3 addresses the following ICT challenge areas and their objectives:

3.8 Future and Emerging Technologies
  1. 8.4 Science of complex systems for socially intelligent
  2. ICT-2007.8.0: FET-Open
  3. ICT-2007.8.4 Science of Complex Systems for socially intelligent ICT
  4. ICT-2007.8.5 Embodied Intelligence
  5. ICT-2007.8.6 ICT forever yours 

The funding allocated for challenges under the ICT call 3 is as follows:  

  1. Cognitive Systems, Interaction, Robotics - 97 M€
  2. Digital Libraries & Content around - 50 M€
  3. FET open around - 65 M€
  4. Science of Complex Systems for socially intelligent ICT - 20 M€
  5. Embodied Intelligence - 20 M€
  6. ICT forever yours -  20 M€ 

The Euro India Research Centre (EIRC), is organizing two workshops at New Delhi and Bangalore to help oragnizations to respond effectively to ICT call 3. The workshops will cover vital aspects of the Framework Programme, the rules for participation, rules and tips of writing a good project proposal and partner search. There will also be parallel sessions covering the ICT challenges mentioned above.

  1. January 29th – 30th 2008 – New Delhi
  2. January 31st – February 1st 2008 – Bangalore
